Man charged after hitting pedestrian with car

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Jamestown Police have charged a man with failure to yield to a pedestrian after he allegedly struck a person with his car while they were in a crosswalk.

Police say 47-year-old Robert Reedy of Jamestown hit a 20-year-old resident at the intersection of Foote Avenue and East 2nd Street. An investigation revealed that Reedy struck the pedestrian while they were using a crosswalk on Foote Avenue.
