BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Two Western New York businesses are receiving nearly a quarter of a million dollars as they expand and increase productivity.
Eden Valley Growers will receive $80,000 from the New York Power Authority towards its $400,000 expansion that will create six new jobs at its distribution center. The co-op consists of 10 members who provide fresh produce to our area.
The Power Authority is giving $165,000 to Living Green Insulation Products and Services as it renovates a building in downtown Buffalo to transform it into a state-of-the-art, sustainable manufacturing operations to produce cellulose insulation and hydro-seed mulch from recycled paper products. The expansion, which will cost the company $890,000, will create 29 new positions.
