Driver accused of having pot, Valium and Xanax

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo woman is facing charges after being stopped for speeding on I-190 southbound, Tuesday. New York State Police say 48-year-old Joann Nappo had a smell of marijuana coming from inside her vehicle.

Police say the found 19 grams of marijuana inside in her car, in addition to Valium and Xanax pills that she did not have a prescription for.

Nappo now faces drug and speeding charges. She will appear in City of Buffalo Court next week.
