Foligno injury not as severe as first feared

DETROIT (WIVB) – Sabres head coach Ted Nolan revealed today, that Marcus Foligno’s lower body injury is not as bad as he first thought.

After last night’s game in St. Louis, Nolan said Foligno would likely be out for the rest of the season. With only six games to go, that could still be the case, but Nolan said Foligno was up and walking around today.

He will miss tonight’s game against Detroit, but it does not sound like a long-term injury. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
