Man accused of stealing roommate’s debit card, pills

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – Troopers arrested a man who they say stole his roommate’s debit card and more than 200 prescription pills.

On Wednesday, State Police arrested Jason Benedict of Lockport on charges of fourth degree grand larceny and petit larceny. Troopers say the 32-year-old stole his roommate’s debit card in February and withdrew cash and also took more than 200 prescription pills from the home.
