Niagara County roads benefit from state money

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - Niagara County drivers will not need to dodge potholes for much longer. State Senator George Maziarz says the new state budget has nearly $600,000 set aside for road repairs.

The grant money is meant to help local governments deal with the aftermath of this winter’s especially harsh conditions.

The cities of Niagara Falls, North Tonawanda and Lockport received the most aid.
