Student facing charges over Hutch Tech bomb scare

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 15-year-old student police say caused a scare at a Buffalo school on Monday is now facing charges.

Hutchinson Central Technical High School was in lockdown Monday morning after a bomb threat was posted on social media. No explosive device was found in the school, and after two hours, the lockdown was lifted.

Police have now arrested and charged a student with filing a false report. The student’s name was not released.
