Police: Driver turning left causes four-car crash

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – A four-car crash closed a portion of South Transit Road in Lockport early Monday morning.

The accident happened near the entrance of the Village Trailer Park. State Police say Steven Seiler, 27, of Lockport was turning left from the park onto South Transit Road when he turned into the path of other vehicles, causing a four-car crash.

He was taken to the hospital complaining of pain. Lori Shanley, 49, of Lockport was flown to ECMC by Mercy Flight on complaints of neck and back pain and is listed in stable condition. Jeamal Siplin, 36, of Cheektowaga was taken to ECMC by ambulance while complaining of pain.

The fourth driver in the crash, Steven Molloy, 29, of Williamsville and his 3-year-old son were uninjured.

Troopers say their investigation into the crash continues and charges are pending.
