Man arrested for DWI after being stopped for speeding

GREAT VALLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Troopers arrested 34-year old Rickey Armstrong after they observed him going 84 miles per hour and crossing over into the oncoming lane of traffic on Martin Road in the Town of Great Valley last Thursday.

Troopers found Armstrong to be intoxicated with a BAC of .10 percent. During processing police learned that Armstrong had a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years, causing the offense to be charged as a felony.

Armstrong is set to face the charges in Town of Great Valley court at a later date.
