Man found slumped behind wheel facing charges

VILLENOVA, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Police say a man found slumped over his steering wheel while his vehicle was parked in the roadway was impaired on drugs.

Troopers responded to Hurlbert Road in the Town of Villenova and found 41-year-old Daniel Tyma of South Dayton slumped behind the wheel. Tyma was arrested on charges of first degree operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance in a non-original container.

He is due back in court at a later date.
