REDHOUSE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A woman who had seven passengers in her vehicle, including three children, when she was arrested for DWI will not spend any additional time in jail.
Juanita Rivera was arrested last October on felony aggravated DWI charges after deputies stopped her following a crash in the Town of Redhouse. At the time, Rivera was intoxicated and had seven other people in her vehicle, including three children, two of which were not properly fastened.
The 36-year-old Salamanca woman was sentenced Monday to time-served plus five years probation for aggravated DWI. Her driver’s license was revoked for one year.
