Report from caller leads to DWI arrest

ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Troopers caught up to a vehicle after a 911 complaint and arrested the driver for DWI.

On April Fools’ Day, a caller told dispatch that a man driving a pickup truck was swerving all over Rt. 354 in Attica. State Police caught up to the vehicle and pulled the driver over.

Troopers say 44-year-old Robert Sacher failed field sobriety tests and a breath test would reveal a .13 percent BAC.

Sacher was arrested on charges of DWI and taken to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
