WARSAW, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Warsaw woman has been accused of filing a false report with Wyoming County Child Protective Services and enticing a child to lie to investigators.

State Police say 50-year old Joyce Selapack made a false report of suspected child abuse and then tried to get a minor child to give false statements to investigators by offering gifts to the child.

Selapack was taken in to custody and later arraigned on charges of third degree falsely reporting an incident and endangering the welfare of a child in Warsaw Town Court.

She is being held in lieu of $2,500 bail at the Wyoming County Jail.
