Farm owner back in court over horses

AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Town of Aurora farm owner convicted of animal cruelty hasn’t given up her fight.

Beth Hoskins returned to court on Tuesday as she attempts to have more of her horses returned. Back in October, she was sentenced to serve community service on 52 counts of animal cruelty. She also has to pay restitution in the case.

The Erie County SPCA says it has spent more than a million dollars caring for the horses and in legal fees.
