Graffiti vandals hit site of future hotel in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WIVB) – Niagara Falls are investigating graffiti tags on a Falls building as a possible hate crime.

The building, located at 900 Buffalo Avenue, is being remodeled into a hotel. The building’s owner, who was born in India, said he told a group of skateboarders to leave the property. Later that night, he believes they returned and tagged the building with spray paint.

The graffiti includes a threat and a racist phrase directed at people of Middle Eastern decent. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
