Driver with headlight out facing drug charges

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Police report the arrest of a Buffalo man on drug charges after initially pulling him over on I-190 South for having a headlight out.

Troopers have charged the driver, Kevin T. Grenier Jr, 22, of Buffalo with marijuana and heroin possession and failure to obey a police officer. Troopers say that Grenier initially refused to stop after police activated their lights and sirens.

State Police say Grenier told troopers he was afraid to stop because he had drugs in the vehicle. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
