Five women honored for their contributions to WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Five women were honored Thursday night for their contributions to Western New York.

Pearl at the Webb hosted the first “Women Who Move the City” event. It recognizes Mary Lynn Barnhard of Wheels With Wings, Lindsay Brick with the Junior League and Make A Wish, Shiela Figel with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County, Kathleen Maxian of the Western New York Ovarian Cancer Project and Nadia Moore of the Olivencia Community Center.

The event also benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County.
