Sabres to thank fans, recognize Mike Robitaille

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Sabres will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night Sunday, during the team’s final game of the season.

The event includes a pre-game party, that begins at 2:30 p.m. outside of the arena, and giveaways, contests and discounts throughout the game, which begins at 5 p.m.

The Sabres will recognize broadcaster Mike Robitaille, who is retiring from his duties with the team after more than 30 years. The team will honor Robitaille, along with the award winners for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Unsung Hero and the 7th Man.
