ROYALTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Niagara County man is accused of driving drunk with a 16-year-old child in his vehicle when he crashed into a parked car on Dale Road in the Town of Royalton on Thursday.

Troopers were called to the scene around 10 p.m., where they placed 39-year-old Christopher McOmber under arrest for felony aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law. State Police say McOmber refused a breath test but failed field sobriety tests and smelled of alcohol.

It was also discovered McOmber had a previous DWI in the past 10 years, and was additionally charged with felony DWI.

McOmber was taken to the Niagara County Jail on $500 bail.
