Meeting to focus on Erie Canal Hydrilla Control Project

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Army Corps of Engineers will hold a meeting on the Tonawanda Creek and Erie Canal Hydrilla Control Project on Monday.

The meeting runs from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Frontiersmen VFW Post in Tonawanda and will provide information to the Corps of Engineers National Environmental Policy Act Environmental Assessment, regarding the options for hydrilla control in Tonawanda Creek between the confluence with the Niagara River and the Pendleton Guard Gate. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
