AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Amherst collections call center will close its doors in July, leaving 121 workers without a job.

The New York State Department of Labor this week posted a WARN notice for Primary Financial Services LLC stating they will shut down on July 11.  Economic reasons are listed for the cause of the shutdown.

The company runs a collections agency at 95 John Muir Drive but is owned by a  Canadian firm, CBV Collection Services Ltd., since 2011

Primary Financial Services collected on student loans and credit cards among other debt services. The company is reportedly consolidating operations in their Phoenix office.
