Convicted felon sentenced for bringing gun to casino

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – A convicted felon who brought a loaded handgun into the Seneca Niagara Casino was sentenced to four years in prison on Tuesday.

In February 2011, Mashama Hill got upset with other patrons at a card table and threatened to leave and return with a gun. Hill left and the patrons reported the incident to security.

A short time later, the 38-year-old returned to the casino wearing different clothing. Security personnel stopped him and discovered he was in possession of a loaded firearm.

The Niagara Falls man was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison after being convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
