Man accused of drunkenly harassing people


BROCTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Chautauqua County man is facing charges after deputies say he drunkenly harassed several people.

Deputies were called to a home Old Mill Road in the Village of Brocton Saturday morning.  When they arrived, they were told that 50-year-old James D. Seavy, Jr, of Brocton, was allegedly intoxicated and threatening several people.

According to police, Seavy also verbally harassed and inappropriately touched a woman at the home.

After responding to the call, deputies found Seavy unconscious in the yard of a residence on Main Street.  He was treated by Brocton EMS and transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital.
