BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Allegany County man could face up to 15 years in prison for carrying a small arsenal of weapons in his vehicle while searching for a prostitute in Buffalo.

In May 2013, David Anderson of Fillmore was pulled over by Buffalo Police for driving the wrong way on Auburn Avenue. In the vehicle was a loaded rifle, two loaded and unlicensed pistols, a silencer, a knife, handcuffs and 180 rounds of ammunition. At the time, the 40-year-old told officers that he was looking for a prostitute.

On Monday, Hon. M. William Boller found Anderson guilty of two counts of second degree criminal possession of a weapon after a non-jury trial.

Anderson remains in custody and is scheduled to sentenced on May 13th. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
