Rochester man accused of selling drugs in Orleans County

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) – Authorities say they have arrested a Rochester man who has been bringing crack cocaine from the city into Orleans County.

LaQuan Simmons was taken into custody on Monday in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Rt. 31 in Albion. The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force says the 22-year-old sold drugs to an undercover agent. At the time of his arrest, officers say they seized 22 bags of crack cocaine packaged for sale and a larger bag of crack cocaine from Simmons.

The Rochester man, who is currently on parole, is charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
