Buffalo History Museum to kickoff War of 1812 Bicentennial

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – History buffs may be interested in checking out the War of 1812 Bicentennial kickoff Wednesday. Things will get underway Wednesday morning with a ceremonial musket firing at the Buffalo History Museum. Many of the biggest battles around our region took place in 1814.

Events celebrating the bicentennial include battle reenactments on both sides of the Niagara River, as well as special dances and performances.
