BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and the Save Our Streets Task Force will start the 2014 Clean Sweep Initiative Wednesday morning.
The program aims to conduct more than two dozen ‘sweeps’ during the next six months. During a ‘sweep’ dozens of city services, agencies and community partners will come together to address quality of life issues in each city council district.
Last year, Mayor Brown and the City of Buffalo Save Our Streets Task Force coordinated 28 of these ‘sweeps’.
The program will kick off at 9:30 a.m.
