Man robs Bank of America on Main Street in Amherst

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Amherst Police are looking for the man who robbed a Bank of America branch Thursday afternoon.

Around 1:15 p.m., detectives say a man entered the bank on Main Street and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The suspect is described as white, around 5’10” and 200 pounds, between 30- to 35-years-old, and he had a goatee.

Anyone with any information should call investigators at 689-1343.
