Crews to begin work on crumbling road

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - A big project in Amherst begins Monday. Crews will begin to rebuild a stretch of Hopkins Road. Parts of that roadway have been crumbling for years.

One piece of the reconstruction will include stabilizing an embankment to prevent erosion.

The repairs are happening between Tonawanda Creek and Smith Roads.
