Trump enlisting locals in pursuit of Buffalo Bills

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Billionaire businessman Donald Trump has recruited some local political power in his pursuit of the Buffalo Bills.

Trump is bringing on board Nick Langworthy, current chairman of the Erie County Republican Part, and political strategist Michael Caputo, who will serve as a local spokesman.

“He’s probably got one of the most experienced business development teams in the country if not in the world. He’s involved in transactions this size on a regular basis. So his team internally is doing all preparations to answer the competition to purchase the team,” Caputo said.

Trump has also hired a local attorney, Emilio Colaiacovo, a partner with the Bouvier Partnership LLP, for legal help.

The Wilson family needs to choose an investment bank and set a price for the team before any potential buyers can make a bid.
