WNY entertainers attend White House Easter Egg Roll

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) – Tens of thousands of people from across the country were invited to the front lawn of the White House on Monday.

For the 136th year, the President, First Lady and the Easter bunny welcomed children to the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll. This year’s theme was: “hop into healthy, swing into shape.”

Children carrying wooden spoons pushed Easter eggs across the grass.

Some entertainers from Western New York were part of the fun at the White House. Charlie and Checkers of Lancaster posed for some pictures on the White House lawn.
