Fourth deadly motorcycle crash in three days

ASHFORD, N.Y. (WIVB) – For the third day in a row, a Western New York resident has died as a result of a motorcycle accident.

State Police say 52-year-old Roy Beverlin, Jr. failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway on Bolton Road in the Town of Ashford and crashed, striking a fence and trees. A passing motorist found him unresponsive and called 911.

Beverlin was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Sunday, a 19-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Tonawanda. The same day, a 25-year-old Wyoming County man was killed in an accident in Livingston County.

Then on Monday, a 79-year-old motorcyclist was found unresponsive in a ditch. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
