Troopers report erratic driver, make DWI arrest

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York State Police were patrolling in the Town of Batavia when they report spotting a vehicle weaving in the road, crossing the center line and white hazard lines multiple times.

They stopped the vehicle and interviewed the driver identified as Jamie Rennicks, 30, of Pembroke. Police say Rennicks showed signs of intoxication and troopers say she failed standard field sobriety tests.

She was taken to State Police Barracks in Batavia where she registered a .24 percent BAC level, which is three times the legal limit.

Rennicks was charged with aggravated DWI and other vehicle and traffic charges. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
