Man accused of stealing, forging and cashing in checks

PERRY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Wyoming County man is accused of stealing blank checks from Dueppengiesser Dairy Company, between the end of March and throughout April.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s office says 53-year-old John S. Dueppengiesser is accused of forging and cashing in the checks for various amounts.

Dueppengiesser is facing grand larceny and forgery charges. He was arrested Tuesday afternoon and after being arraigned was taken to Wyoming County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

He is due in Perry Town Court in June.
