County courses back in the swing of things

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Golfers are getting back into the swing of things in Erie County. At 7 a.m. Thursday, the county’s golf courses opened for the season.

Erie County runs two courses you can tee off at, Elma Meadows and the historic Grover Cleveland Course in Amherst.

Elma Meadows, an 18-hole par 70 course, is located at 1711 Girdle Road. You can get more information here.
