Jacobs Jr. releases statement on Buffalo Bills

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) The Jacobs family name has been in the mix since the start of Buffalo Bills ownership rumors. Thursday, Delaware North Companies Principal Jeremy Jacobs Jr. released a statement regarding his dedication to keeping the team in Buffalo.

“We are using our resources, our contacts, our relationships to do everything we can to ensure the Bills stay in Buffalo,” said Jeremy Jacobs Jr. in a prepared statement.

Earlier this month, Delaware North released a statement saying Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Jacobs Sr. is not interested in buying the Bills. Jacobs Sr. says he is dedicated to owning the Boston Bruins, and keeping them a successful and winning franchise.

Donald Trump, Jim Kelly and Jon Bon Jovi have also been targets of Bills ownership speculation.
