Public meeting about Parkside traffic study will be held tonight

ps

Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB) – The second public meeting for the Parkside Community traffic study will be held tonight. The meeting’s purpose is to present study recommendations and as for public opinions. People living in the area say drivers don’t follow the speed limit and go too fast. In fact, the intersection of Parkside and Florence avenues has an accident rate three times the state average. That’s according to a traffic study on the Parkside community’s website. This is very concerning since many people walk to nearby Delaware Park and The Buffalo Zoo. The meeting is at 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the auditorium at St. Mary’s School for the Deaf on 2253 Main street in Buffalo.
