Students send Flat Stanley on adventures

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Third graders from St. John the Baptist School in Kenmore are in Thursday’s Student Spotlight. The kids are encouraging their friends and family to host Flat Stanley on their adventures around the world. Author Jeff Brown created the character 50 years ago.

In the included photo, you see students Emma Schaus and James Orlando posing with Flat Stanley. Each student mailed Flat Stanley to a friend or family member somewhere in the world and then had him mailed back with pictures of his travels.
