University Police report assault, robbery at Buff State

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Five people were arrested after an assault and robbery on the Buffalo State College campus, according to University Police.

University Police say the four adult suspects and one juvenile suspect are not students. They were apprehended on Grant Street less than 10 minutes after the incident in Lot G Tuesday night.

Police say one suspect displayed a gun during the alleged assault. Two nearby students heard the victim’s calls for help, so one of them shouted. Police say this caused the robbers to flee, while the other one called University Police.

A student was cut in the head and face during the incident.
