Newbury Street Cafe to open next week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A ribbon-cutting party was planned in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village for Friday, however it has been delayed until next week because of a burglary.

Newbury Street Cafe will open its doors on Elmwood Avenue and Hodge, in what was the longtime home of Louie’s hot dogs.

The restaurant will be run by the owner of Acropolis a few blocks away, and will feature western New York’s first salad bar free of genetically modified organisms. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
