UB community to plant campus garden

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The University at Buffalo’s campus is blooming. Students and staff will plant the first seeds in the new UB campus garden Friday morning. This is part of the school’s Earth Week celebration.

The garden is a new addition to the North Campus, it was installed last fall. The garden’s purpose is to connect students, faculty and the community through experiential learning and practice.

More than 40 students have committed to working it during the spring and summer, to help make sure it’s a success.

Some of the items will be used at a Harvest Dinner this fall at three residential dining centers.
