PIKE, N.Y. (WIVB) - An alleged drunk driver was found inside a stolen car early Saturday, in the Silver Lake Institute. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office says a black Cadillac was reported missing from the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club around 10:40 p.m. Friday.

Officials say it was determined an unknown person took the car without the owner’s consent. Deputies found it around midnight, and found 24-year-old Adam Willis asleep in the front seat.

Willis was arrested and is facing felony charges for DWI, unlicensed operation and possession of stolen property.

The vehicle was returned safely to its owner. Willis was arraigned in Town of Pike Court and taken to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,5000 bail. He will return to Town of Castile Court at a later date.
