Family launches Jamey Rodemeyer Anti-Bully Award

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The memory of Jamey Rodemeyer will come front and center Tuesday in Buffalo. Jamey’s family will visit Lorraine Elementary to tell Jamey’s story and announce the launch of the “Jamey Rodemeyer Award.”

Then next month, Lorraine will present the ‘Jamey Rodemeyer Anti-Bully Award’ to eight students at the school’s ‘Bully Free 5k.’

Jamey had just began his freshman year at Williamsville North High School when took his own life in 2011.
