Buffalo gets positive press in Toronto

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo comes out shining in a new article from the Toronto Star.

Travel columnist Jim Byers says he was “shocked and awed by the rebirth of Buffalo” during a visit to the Queen City last week.

Byers was blown away by Buffalo’s rich stock of architecture, the character and feel of Allentown and the Elmwood Village, and ongoing redevelopment efforts at Canalside.

He also raved about his experience at The Mansion on Delaware, the only AAA-rated Four Diamond hotel in the Buffalo Niagara region.

“Governor Andrew Cuomo, I’m told, is sinking a billion dollars – they call it the Buffalo Billion – into the city. And it shows,” Byers wrote.
