Hamburg School Board to try to remove member

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – In Hamburg, the school board is expected to take the first step in removing one if its members. The board plans to charge Catherine Forcucci with official misconduct at Wednesday night’s meeting.

The president of the board say she’s been a headache for them since she took office less than a year ago. He says she has acted up at meetings and refused to leave district offices when asked.

The meeting is happening at 5 p.m. at Union Pleasant Elementary School. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
