BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man now admits he robbed two M&T Bank branches last year.

On Wednesday, Michael Tynes pleaded guilty to a federal charge of bank robbery. The 54-year-old robbed two M&T Bank branches, both on Jefferson Avenue, one in August and the other in September.

In both robberies, Tynes handed the teller a note demanding cash and claiming he had a crew outside the bank waiting for him.

When he is sentenced in August, Tynes could face a maximum of 20 years behind bars.
