Man sent behind bars on cocaine charge

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man learned his sentence Wednesday, after being convicted on a drug charge. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 44-year-old Joseph Lopez, was sentenced to nine years in prison.

In November, 2011 police executed a search warrant at Lopez’s residence on Hertel Avenue, where they seized about 400 grams of cocaine, about $8,000 and three firearms.
