Man sentenced for southern tier meth lab

WELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who was making meth on the southern tier will spend more than three years in prison.

In January 2012, John Faber of Wellsville was arrested during a raid that also saw Jason Patterson, his wife April Patterson, Anthony Kidd, and Justin McPherson taken into custody. All of those arrested have been convicted.

Faber, 28, was sentenced Wednesday to 40 months in prison for conspiracy to manufacture, possess with intent to distribute and distribute, 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

McPherson was sentenced to two years in prison, but because he had been in jail since his arrest, he was released on time served.
