Heroin, pills found in Allegany County raid

BELMONT, N.Y. (WIVB) – An Allegany County man is facing numerous charges after deputies raided his home on Milton Street in the Village of Belmont.

Authorities say they found heroin, hydrocodone, marihuana, needles, and other drug paraphernalia during their search. Robert Witter is charged with two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, five counts of criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The 28-year-old was taken to the Allegany County Jail on $2,000 bail after being arraigned in Belmont Village Court.
