Teenage boy’s body found in Black Rock


BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – Buffalo Police are investigating the death of a teenager whose body was found Saturday afternoon in the city’s Black Rock neighborhood. Foul play is suspected.

A bicyclist found the boy’s body in a secluded area that was once home to the former Tee To Green golf facility, on Amherst Street near Churchill Street, according to police.

Homicide detectives are investigating. “There are signs of foul play in this death investigation,” said Chief of Detectives, Dennis Richards.

Police believe the boy was in his early teens. No other identifying information has been released.
